From experienced coaches to our friendly front-desk and operations staff, each team member helps create a positive environment where players of all ages and skill levels can learn, grow and feel at home.

TEAM MEMBERS

Brian Dean

Managing Director of Tennis

Brian brings nearly 30 years of experience as a tennis professional, educator and community leader. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to creating inclusive programs, building meaningful relationships and expanding opportunities for players of all ages and abilities.

A passionate advocate for adaptive tennis, Brian has served on the USTA Midwest Wheelchair Tennis Committee for more than a decade and is an active member of the USTA National Wheelchair Tennis Junior Provider Team. Through community outreach, adaptive programming and junior wheelchair tennis initiatives, he has helped create greater access to the sport for athletes with physical and developmental challenges.

Matt Egan

Club Operations Manager

Matt is dedicated to creating a welcoming experience for every guest while ensuring the day-to-day operations of USTA Midwest Tennis Center run smoothly. He earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management from the University of Indianapolis and has built his career in facility and operations management ever since.

Before joining the tennis center, Matt worked with Indy Parks, where he developed a strong passion for serving the Indianapolis community and creating positive experiences through sports and recreation.

Known for his approachable nature and commitment to customer service, Matt is always happy to assist with questions, feedback or support. He takes pride in helping make the USTA Midwest Tennis Center a place where everyone feels welcome.

Andrew Airgood

Tennis Professional

Andrew is a certified tennis teaching professional with nearly 10 years of experience helping players develop their skills and love for the game. A former collegiate player for Calvin University, Andrew combines his competitive playing background with 10 years of team tennis coaching experience to create a positive and engaging learning environment for players of all ages and abilities.

Andrew is passionate about making tennis accessible and enjoyable for everyone, encouraging each player to get involved in whatever way best fits their goals and interests. His enthusiasm for the sport shines through in every lesson, bringing energy, dedication and a player-focused approach to the court. By emphasizing steady day-by-day improvement, he helps players build confidence, develop their skills and achieve their personal goals while fostering a lifelong appreciation for the game of tennis.

Tia Hague

Tennis Professional

Tia loves tennis and has played for more than 20 years. As a junior athlete, she competed at a high level, aspiring to play professionally. Along the way she found a passion for teaching tennis. She is certified through the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) and previously coached at both the Jewish Community Center and the Indianapolis Racquet Club where she worked with players of all skill levels.
